Copyright checking is an ongoing process that you’ll need to repeat at multiple stages throughout the publishing workflow. This includes doing a final check of your textbook before publishing.
Whenever you add content you didn’t create yourself to your textbook – whether it’s text, images or multimedia – remember to keep track of where it came from and to check whether or not you need to get permission from the copyright holder.
